The ‘Breathing Together’ six month facilitation training is a trauma informed, soul-led, science-backed breathwork training, designed for those who feel the call to hold space and create positive change with safety, confidence and integrity — both in person and online.

This training is very intimate & spots are limited to 10 students.

Starts: November 16th, 2025 Digital Training + In-Person Intensive April 2026 (UK) June 2026 (Bali).

We journey into the ancient and powerful practice of breathwork facilitation; a path that not only transforms the lives of those you’ll serve but deeply initiates you into your own healing, embodiment, and leadership.

Breath is life force. It is the bridge between the seen and unseen, the conscious and unconscious. As a breathwork facilitator, you are not just guiding people through techniques; you are holding space for their remembrance, their release, and their reconnection to the truth of who they are. This is devotional work. It is work of the heart, of presence, and of deep integrity.

Throughout this course, you will be initiated into the foundational and advanced principles of breathwork facilitation. You’ll explore a wide range of techniques, from Circular Breathing to Somatic practices and learn how to create safe, trauma-informed containers rooted in love and grounded presence.

You’ll be invited to walk the path: one who honours the breath, who guides with compassion, humility, and sovereignty, and who knows that true facilitation begins with embodiment. This means doing your own inner work; meeting your edges, softening into truth, and deepening your capacity to hold space for others with authenticity and grace.

Whether you are called to serve individuals or to lead groups, this training will prepare you to step forward with confidence, clarity, and devotion.

2. Complete an application form

3. You will then receive a link to book in a phone call with Jo

4. Once accepted, you will receive finalisation on next steps and the beginning of the training

PHASE ONE

Personal Process

 

Your personal process with breathwork begins with understanding your own awareness, beliefs, story and breathing patterns. This phase has been designed to introduce you to various techniques including pranayama, circular breathing and regulation methods.

PHASE TWO

 Facilitation For Individuals

  

Supporting others begins with learning how to hold safe, attuned space for one-to-one transition. This phase guides you through the foundations of client facilitation; including session structure, presence, integration tools, and trauma-informed practice, so you can confidently meet each individual where they are and support their unique process with care and integrity.

PHASE THREE

Facilitation For Groups

  

Guiding groups requires a grounded presence, clear energy, and the ability to hold collective emotion with skill and sensitivity. This phase introduces the art of group facilitation, from creating a safe container and reading group dynamics, to weaving themes, music, and movement, so you can lead powerful shared experiences both in person and online.

PHASE FOUR

Building A Foundational Business

  

Sharing this work sustainably means learning how to build a business that feels aligned, ethical, and true to your voice. This phase offers practical guidance on foundational business setup. Your Story - Your Voice - Your Medicine.

Trauma Awareness 

There are many different types of trauma, reaching back to childhood. Learn how to read the moments which have effected and altered someones life.

Breathing anatomy 

From the lungs to intercostal muscles, breathing is a beautiful, complex process that’s both automatic and conscious; controlled by the autonomic nervous system, but also something we can influence to support healing, regulation, and awareness.

Somatic Awareness  

Learn to read the direction of everything we experience in the body and nervous system.

Cultural lineage of breathwork

We must honor where these practices came from. We teach and spread the wisdom of many incredible healers.

Apply Polyvagal Theory & Window Of Tolerance

The Window of Tolerance is the optimal zone where your nervous system can handle life’s ups and downs without becoming dysregulated. Polyvagal Theory explains how your autonomic nervous system (ANS) responds to safety, danger, and life threat.

Jo Davis

 

Jo is a certified Breathwork Practitioner, Yoga Teacher & Retreat Leader who uses breathing, somatics and subconscious mind techniques. After discovering breathwork could guide through the unconscious blocks in our psyche and clear emotional, physical and energetic blockages back in 2019, Jo is an advocate for the transformational and healing benefits of breathwork therapy and how it can be used to empower individuals on their personal journeys, bringing them into their fullest expression and freedom.

Jessica is a qualified person centred talk therapist of 6 years and has trained in Bodywork, Bodywork Alchemy — all rooted in science, to guide you to use your intuitive wisdom and gifts to support healing in others.

Deepak

 

Deepak is a pranayama expert and certified by the Yoga Alliance, he holds a Diploma and Masters in Pranayama Science. He is particularly loved by his students for his sunny disposition and kind nature. He is experienced in the aspects of Pranayama and Shatkarma.

Jo is a heart-led entrepeneur, certified Breathwork Practitioner, Yoga Teacher & Retreat Leader who uses breathing, somatics and subconscious mind techniques to take clients on a journey of exploration. After discovering breathwork could guide through the unconscious blocks in our psyche and clear emotional, physical and energetic blockages back in 2019, Jo is an advocate for the transformational and healing benefits of breathwork therapy and how it can be used to empower individuals on their personal journeys, bringing them into their fullest expression and freedom. Jo creates spaces for clients to come back to presence, expand and arrive into stillness. Jo's journey has involved dedicating herself to understanding mind-body connection, our inner psyche and science-backed teachings from around the world including India, Bali and the UK. Jo now guides Breathwork Teacher Trainings and Retreats that are rooted in safety, integrity, grounding into the human experience and embodied presence. 

Jo has since collaborated with brands including Hotpod Yoga, Soho House, Karma Coast, Turtle Method and Shanti Bali. She has also worked with Sjana Elise, SkyBear B & Louise Thompson for Turtle Community.

BUT TRUTH BE TOLD, 

MY experience
LED ME HERE.

 

In 2019, I experienced a deep personal rupture that completely changed the course of my life. I was navigating PTSD after a traumatic event that left me feeling disconnected from my body, constantly on edge, and deeply overwhelmed. Outwardly, I was functioning but inside, I was in a loop of anxiety, avoidance, and hyper-independence. I didn’t realize how much of my identity had been shaped by survival mode.

Healing didn’t happen overnight. It began slowly, through breathwork, somatic therapy, and reconnecting with my nervous system. I had to re-learn how to feel safe in stillness, how to trust my body again, and how to stay present rather than dissociating or distracting myself.

The most incredible part? This breakdown became a breakthrough. It brought me back to the wisdom of the present moment. It taught me how to regulate my emotions, listen to my intuition, and hold myself through discomfort instead of running from it.

That experience led me to do the work I now share with others. Whether it’s my 1:1 clients, retreat guests, or course students, I’ve witnessed profound transformations: people learning to come home to themselves, create safety within, and finally move forward with clarity and confidence.

I’ve been exactly where many of my clients are; stuck, overwhelmed, craving change but not knowing how to access it. My story is proof that healing is possible. Not because everything gets perfect, but because you build the tools, trust, and inner stability to meet life with presence.

What’s included:

6 month Digital Training & development container beginning November 11th 2024 (5 months online  and 1 month online post-onsite intensive).

Total duration: Nov 2025 - April 2026. You will be certified in April 2026 but we have a few integration & follow-up calls after the In-Person Intensive.  Weekly Masterclasses on Sundays 7PM BST.

An online supportive community

Weekly assignments & access to recordings of the sessions, educational content drip fed covering a wide range of topics.

Group Mentoring in a small group (10-12 people) by Jo & experts throughout the whole training time. Apart from the online sessions, teachers will be available for questions.
