In 2019, I experienced a deep personal rupture that completely changed the course of my life. I was navigating PTSD after a traumatic event that left me feeling disconnected from my body, constantly on edge, and deeply overwhelmed. Outwardly, I was functioning but inside, I felt fractured, in a loop of anxiety, avoidance, and hyper-independence. I didnât realize how much of my identity had been shaped by survival mode.
Healing didnât happen overnight. It began slowly, through breathwork, somatic therapy, and reconnecting with my nervous system. I had to re-learn how to feel safe in stillness, how to trust my body again, and how to stay present rather than dissociating or distracting myself.
The most incredible part? This breakdown became a breakthrough. It brought me back to the wisdom of the present moment. It taught me how to regulate my emotions, listen to my intuition, and hold myself through discomfort instead of running from it.
That experience led me to do the work I now share with others. Whether itâs my 1:1 clients, retreat guests, or course students, Iâve witnessed profound transformations: people learning to come home to themselves, create safety within, and finally move forward with clarity and confidence.
Iâve been exactly where many of my clients are; stuck, overwhelmed, craving change but not knowing how to access it. My story is proof that healing is possible. Not because everything gets perfect, but because you build the tools, trust, and inner stability to meet life with presence.
